It is closely affiliated with pottery, and throughout the market vases, plates and other items are all made from clay and are popular with tourists.
San Sebastián is the main port, the capital and also an administrative district on La Gomera in the Canary Islands. Its main claim to fame is that Christopher Columbus stayed here on his way to the New World, and you’ll learn more about the famed explorer here than you ever did, as his every footstep (real or imagined) in the town has been well documented for visitors.
