The Celebrity Xcel is the newest cruise ship of Celebrity Cruises and is scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage in November 2025, becoming the fifth member of the popular Edge Series.
With a gross tonnage of approximately 141,000, the ship measures around 327 meters in length and 39 meters in width. It can reach speeds of up to 22 knots and accommodates between 3,200 and nearly 4,000 guests, depending on configuration, while the crew numbers about 1,400. Onboard there are 1,646 staterooms and 16 decks, 10 of which are dedicated to passenger accommodations. This vessel combines technological excellence with luxury, designed to deliver a world-class cruising experience.
Among its standout features is the innovative multi-space The Bazaar, which replaces the Eden venue found on previous ships and brings onboard elements inspired by the ship’s destinations through local cuisine, music, arts, and performances. Other new highlights include A Chef’s Studio, a culinary venue where guests can learn dishes inspired by Caribbean and Latin flavors, and The Attic at The Club, a playful area with retro arcade games and a lively nighttime atmosphere. The ship will primarily offer seven-night Caribbean cruises, sailing from Fort Lauderdale with stops at popular destinations such as the Bahamas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten, delivering an experience of luxury and innovation at sea.
