Volendam is a town in North Holland. Volendam is a popular tourist attraction in the Netherlands, well known for its old fishing boats and the traditional clothing still worn by some residents. Also features a small museum about its history and clothing style, and visitors can have their pictures taken in traditional Dutch costumes. Volendam is also well known for its distinctive music, which is called Palingsound (literally "eel sound").

Arnhem, Netherlands
Arnhem is a city and the capital of the Dutch province of Gelderland. The city's location on the River Nenterain (Nederrijn) (Lower Rhine), was decisive for the history and development. The Nenterain with Baal (Waal) flowing south, are in fact parts of the Rhine on Dutch territory. Because of its location on the Rhine in Arnhem, with a backdrop of forests, was favorite subject of painters. This group of mills is the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands. The windmills of Kinderdijk are one of the best-known Dutch tourist sites. They have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

A large indoor shopping center, is located between the main railway station and the city center. The corridors have been considered public places like streets, and therefore the central path from the station to the city center is open all night. Utrecht's University is the largest university in the Netherlands.
