From Quebec City (Canada) to La Baie (Saguenay), to Baie-Comeau, to Havre-Saint-Pierre, to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, to Halifax, to New York (USA).
Our exploration begins where French colonial history began in Quebec City. Founded by Samuel de Champlain, crowned with the chateau Frontenac, Quebec City has reigned as a bastion of the French New World for more than 400 years. Τhe adventures of Jacques Cartier call as deep into the scenic Saguenay River. Wild, rugged, and unfazed by time, we visit La Baie, calebrated as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Quebec" and charming Baie-Comeau, which is the heart of a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Breathtaking landscapes lead us to Prince Edwards Island, famed for red-sand beaches and Anne of Green Gables. In Halifax, sample the eighty-plus wineries that have perfected viticulture in their 410-years of production. A 24-hour overnight aboard ship in New York City affords time to see the Statue of Liberty and sunset from the Empire State Building.
