The Galle fort is a world heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Other prominent landmarks in Galle include the natural harbor, the National Maritime Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral founded by Jesuit priests, one of the main Shiva temples on the island, and Amangalla the historic luxury hotel. Located near the southern end of the Sri Lanka, Galle enjoys a nice coast line. And it's a district that enjoys a great variance of scenarios, from beaches to marsh lands to dry planes to hills.

Hithadhoo, Addu Atoll, Maldives

Hithaadhoo is located on the district of Addu City in Addu Atoll in the Maldives.

Phuket, Τhailand

The largest and most famous island of Thailand, Phuket, is full of white, sandy, beaches and glittering seas. A region rich in history and culture, you can explore it from the back of an elephant on a tour of the jungle. Alternatively join a cooking class of the local Thai cuisine.

La Digue, Seychelles

La Digue is the third largest inhabited island of the Seychelles. Island's main industry is tourism, and it is known for its beaches, especially Anse Source d'Argent and Grand Anse. In former times, copra and vanilla production were mainstays of the local economy, which is commemorated in the island's museum.

Mahe, Seychelles

Mahe is the largest island of the Seychelles, lying in the north east of the nation. Ringed by steep, magnificent mountains, few capitals can claim a more beautiful backdrop. The town features a mixture of modern and indigenous architecture. It is the centre of business and commerce thanks to the extensive port facilities. Noteworthy sites in Victoria, the capital of the island, are the history museum, cathedral, clock tower, botanical gardens and an open-air market.

Penang, Malaysia

Penang, is a state in Malaysia, a mosaic of cultures, with multiracial population. The "Pearl of the East" is famous for its beautiful beaches, rich culture and history and the delicious food.

Praslin, Seychelles

Praslin is one of the most popular destination in Seychelles. This place is famous for the locals' strong hospitality and this is the reason why so many people come here from all over the world. You will be amazed by the astonishing, pristine beaches with the crystal clear waters that make the place unique. Coral reefs make the place ideal for diving and snorkelling. The island is surrounded by beautiful tropical flora and rare species of birds such as the black parrot live here. Finally, pretty Creole houses and national monuments will be seen here. The local cuisine is something that you should taste, without doubt!

Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar(Burma)

Yangon, also called Rangoon is the capital of independent Myanmar(Burma) from 1948 to 2006, when the government officially proclaimed the new city of Nay Pyi Taw (Naypyidaw) the capital of the country. The city site is a low ridge surrounded by delta alluvium. The original settlements were located on the ridge, but the modern town was built on alluvium. Subsequent expansion has taken place both on the ridge and on delta land. The local climate is warm and humid, with much rainfall. The centre of the city, called the Cantonment, intersected regularly by streets running north–south and east–west. As Yangon’s population increased in the 20th century, new settlements were built in the north, east, and west that greatly expanded the city’s area.

Singapore

The skyscrapers and bright lights of Singapore hide an eclectic mix of cultures, religions, ancient treasures and British colonial influences that give to the city a distinct identity. A much different environment you are going to meet at the city's outskirts, with the lush rainforests of the nature reserves Boukit Timach and Central Katsment.

Trincomalee, Sri Lanka

Silversea Cruises

Let us take you on a personal journey of discovery. Amid the tranquillity of the sea and the exuberance of distant lands, we will arouse your curiosity and seduce your senses. We will stimulate your imagination and spark new insights. Our aim is to create experiences that will enrich your life for years to come. From the moment you step onboard to the time you say "Arrivederci", our Italian sense of style will shine. The ebullience of our hospitality, the genuine warmth of our service and our evident appreciation of the finer things in life are genial qualities of our founders and owners. They are the principles on which Silversea were founded.

Small is beautiful and bountiful. With fewer guests and a high staff to guest ratio, we can tailor our unobtrusive service to individual needs. And you can join a select on board community of travellers with similar aspirations. The intimate ambience on our shιps has parallels with the atmosphere of a refined club. We are happy to sail against the tide. While most cruise lines build larger and ever-larger ships, we prefer to stay small. In this way we can preserve the special Silversea experience our guests have come to expect ... the intimate ambience, personal service and access to more intriguing secluded ports.

SMALLER GETS YOU CLOSER

Our small ships are agile enough to visit more remote, lesser-known ports and to bring you closer to some of the world's greatest destinations. They can sail up narrow waterways into the heart of a city, they can navigate around tiny islands and they can tie up right at the dock while others must anchor offshore. In the world of upscale cruising, less is more... considerably more, as our seven small ships offer infinite opportunities across all seven continents.
