Asia & Far East

Taking a big trip to the other side of the planet  Traveling to Asia is as exciting as it sounds; Asia is the largest and most diverse continent on Earth, so you'll expirience culture, beauty, history, and adventure.

Hong Kong, China

Visit the night market of Jordan street and savor seafood delicacies in Kwo Tong. Ride the funicular to reach the top of Victoria hill, about 554 meters high and admire the commanding view of Hong Kong. It's strongly suggested to have a walk in Nathan and Canton avenues at Kaouloun peninsula. Both avenues are a commercial paradise in Hong Kong. Countless shopping malls and branded stores are waiting for you to do your shopping .

Kagoshima, Japan

Kagoshima is the capital city of Kagoshima Prefecture at the southwestern tip of the island of Kyushu in Japan, and the largest city in the prefecture by some margin.Kagoshima is approximately 40 minutes from Kagoshima Airport, and the city features large shopping districts and malls, is served by trams, and has many restaurants featuring Satsuma Province regional cuisine.

Kyoto (Osaka)

Kyoto is a city in the central part of the island of Honshu, Japan. It has a population close to 1.5 million. Formerly the imperial capital of Japan, it is now the capital of Kyoto Prefecture, as well as a major part of the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe metropolitan area. Ranked as the 11th of the world's most livable cities in the magazine Monocle in 2012, Kyoto was praised for its history and compact city solutions such as its own subway system.

Singapore

The skyscrapers and bright lights of Singapore hide an eclectic mix of cultures, religions, ancient treasures and British colonial influences that give to the city a distinct identity. A much different environment you are going to meet at the city's outskirts, with the lush rainforests of the nature reserves Boukit Timach and Central Katsment.

Kobe

Kobe is the capital of Hyogo Prefecture and one of Japan's ten largest cities. Located between the sea and the Rokko mountain range, Kobe is also considered one of Japan's most attractive cities.Kobe has been an important port city for many centuries. Its port was among the first to be opened to foreign trade in the 19th century alongside the ports of Yokohama, Nagasaki, Hakodate and Niigata. In 1995, Kobe was hit by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, which killed over 5000 people and destroyed tens of thousands of buildings. Today the city is completely rebuilt, and few signs of the terrible event remain.

Tokyo (Yokohama)

Yokohama is a city in the metropolitan area of Tokyo and the second largest city in Japan. Wander around the largest Chinatown in Japan, admire the largest lighthouse in the world and take o photo of the historical ships in harbor, which once were sailing across the Pacific. Spend a day at the "Hakkeijima Seaparadise", an amusement park, aquarium, with various activities and shops.

Royal Caribbean International

Message from Adam M. Goldstein,  President and CEO

Welcome to Royal Caribbean International – a place where innovation and imagination reign supreme. From its very beginning, our company has been guided by the principles of designing ships and creating itineraries that lead to a cruising experience like no other – principles grounded on delivering the WOW to each and every one of our guests before, during and after sailing with us.

We take great pride in being able to introduce first-at-sea innovations such as the rock climbing wall, zipline and FlowRider® surf simulator to mention a few, as well as offering unparalleled entertainment experiences and to be the only cruise line to offer Tony Award®-winning Broadway shows. All of these onboard amenities offer us the opportunity to see how we can WOW our guests every time they cruise with us.

With more than 280 destinations worldwide and an amazing array of exciting shore excursions and cruisetour options, we provide our guests the chance to experience something new. Something only a Royal Caribbean cruise can offer – like glacier-trekking in Alaska; cave-tubing in Belize; biking through the vineyards of Dubrovnik, Croatia; experiencing the wonders of China; or simply doing nothing at all. That's just the beginning of the kind of exciting adventures and relaxing escapes our global cruises bring to vacationers around the world.

Our ships are also built to WOW. Our latest innovations on Quantum of the Seas, set to sail in November 2014, will feature such first-at-sea experiences like bumper cars, roller skating, simulated skydiving and The North Star, a jewel-like capsule that gently soars 300 feet above sea level. Plus, our Oasis class ships continue to WOW our guests with their unprecedented entertainment, dining and exclusive onboard amenities. We also continue to enhance the rest of our fleet and have already revitalized more than half of our 21 ships and will finalize the revitalizations with our Voyager class in 2014 and 2015.

All of this of course could not be accomplished without our most amazing asset – our crew. The men and women onboard our ships work tirelessly each and every day to ensure that all of our guests have the vacation of a lifetime.

We are committed to continue creating amazing new experiences for our guests in the years ahead. It’s our way of ensuring that we offer our guests the most innovative cruise ships, exciting and compelling itineraries around the world, and our renowned GOLD Anchor Service – what we call the Royal Advantage. We look forward to seeing you onboard and delivering the WOW to you and your family and friends.
