Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is the largest city and port in the country and one of the most prosperous cities in Latin America. Montevideo has old buildings, several museums, art galleries, and nightclubs, outdoor cafes, museums and piazzas with European influences. Parati was founded as a Portuguese colony in the middle of 17th century. The town is located on the Bay of Ilha Grande, on the southwestern tip of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Besides the beautiful landscape, as Parati is surrounded by tropical forests, waterfalls, mountains with lush vegetation, protected natural parks and wonderful beaches, it has also a rich culture, with historic buildings intact through the years, Baroque churches and the Historic Center District, with its cobblestone-paved streets.
Patmos is α small Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It has rocky, volcanic ground and its highest point is the Prophet Elias, 270 m. above sea level. Patmos has a special morphology, with many headlands, coves and islets.
St.John is said to have received his Revelation in a cave (the Cave of the Apocalypse) and many people visit the monasteries and the sacred Cave.
