Europe

Is a dream destination for many and a frequent destination for many more. It has everything to offer just about anyone. Each country is unique and has a wonderful mix of history, culture and many local sights to see. No matter the country or countries you travel to, you’ll never run out of things to do. Even getting around is part of the fun.

Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey

Ephesus is the best preserved classical city in the Mediterranean, famous for its Greek and Roman architecture and probably the best place in the world to realize how life was in Roman times. Ancient history comes alive as you walk along the marble streets next to the traces left by the vehicls of the ancient years and overtake the temples, columns, houses and public baths. Visit the extensively restored Library of Celsus that once contained 12,000 scrolls.

Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Visit the capital of Modern and Ancient Greece and explore , the "Old City" of Athens, Plaka, with its neoclassical buildings and shops for gifts and souvenirs.
Climb the Acropolis hill, where the Parthenon Temple dominates, and enjoy the wonderful view. Also, take a trip along the beautiful Saronic Gulf - Cape Sounion and ancient Corinth, where you can sunbathe and admire thousand years of history.

Chania - Souda (Crete)

The town of Chania is built on the ruins of ancient Cydonia. This historic city had been conquered by many invaders, who left traces of their culture, depicted on building faces, castles, walls, antiquities, monasteries and churches. Dominant position in the city center holds the Municipal market, a brilliant cross-shaped building which was completed in 1913, the analogue of Marseille.
The Venetian port is attractive to visitors and locals, both for its beauty and the entertainment it provides. The neighborhoods of the old city preserve their Venetian nobility. Narrow paved alleys are surrounded with tasteful renewed houses, from various eras, offering a pleasant stroll.

Mykonos, Greece

Mykonos, the most cosmopolitan island in Europe with the most beautiful beaches.

Mykonos is an island of Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. Mykonos was a famous touristic destination since 1960. Nowadays, the nightlife of Mykonos still is the most intense and interesting throughout Europe. Here you will find picturesque villages with whitewashed houses and cobble paved narrow streets, with open door cafes serving Greek specialties. Taste delicious frash seafood from the deep blue Aegean Sea and visit the nearby island of Delos, the island of Apollo with the Temple of Apollo and hellenistic mansions with beautiful mosaics.

Santorini, Greece

Santorini is a unique island of extraordinary beauty and rich culture going back to praehistoric ages

Perched high above the beaches with black sand and crystal sea waters, access to Fira town becomes in three ways - by cable car, donkey or on foot. Regardless the way you choose to get there, the amazing sight of whitewashed houses that hang on the edge of the cliff will enchant you. Visit the site of Akrotiri , one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, and have a sightseeing tour to this prehistoric settlement, a city like Pompeii. Do not miss the opportunity to visit a local "Bodega" in the stunning village of Oia at the top of the cliff.

Naples, Italy

Naples

In the shadow of the Vesuvius volcano, Naples is full of architectural treasures. Also hosts one of the most important archaeological museums in the world, the National Archeological Museum. Visit the ancient city of Pompeii or the beautiful island of Capri to enjoy the magnificent view from the mountaintop. Wander through the picturesque streets of the nearby Sorrento and try Lemontselo, a delicious lemon liqueur.

Civitavecchia/Rome, Italy

Civitavecchia is a town and comune of the province of Rome. A sea port which is located 80 kilometres west-north-west of Rome. The harbor is formed by two piers and a breakwater, on which is a lighthouse.

Private Island Destinations
The global cruise line is a proven leader when it comes to bringing new features and unexpected adventures to life. More recently, Royal Caribbean upped the ante with the introduction of the Perfect Day Island Collection, beginning with Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The 2019 opening debuted the $250 million transformation of the cruise line’s existing private destination, and it quickly became its No. 1 Caribbean destination.

Game-changing Ships
For 50-plus years, Royal Caribbean has built its reputation on providing the most innovative cruise experiences. Cruising for the modern traveler was first redefined in 1999 with new onboard adventures on Voyager Class ships, such as a rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink and the Royal Promenade – a main boulevard of shops, restaurants and lounges that runs the length of the ship. In 2006, the line further transformed the industry with the introduction of Freedom Class, which featured the first FlowRider surf simulator at sea, the H20 Zone aqua park and cantilevered whirlpools suspended 112 feet above the ocean.

It was in 2009 when Royal Caribbean’s renowned Oasis Class ships hit the high seas and revolutionized cruising. Architectural marvels Oasis, Allure, Harmony and Symphony of the Seas are known as the largest cruise ships in the world. They tout the cruise line's signature neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, which include Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone. The fifth ship to join the innovative lineup was Wonder of the Seas, sailing from Florida and Spain in 2022. The world’s largest cruise ship is set to make waves with eight distinct neighborhoods, a Royal Caribbean first, that include all-new features and signature adventures: from the Suite Neighborhood and Wonder Playscape, an interactive, open-air kids’ play area with endless ocean views; to the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea; and the AquaTheater entertainment venue brought to life by high divers, slackliners, dancers, special effects and more.

The leading cruise line followed up Oasis Class with the introduction of Quantum Class, which debuted in 2014 with unprecedented innovation in ship design, thrilling activities, cutting-edge technology and multidimensional entertainment. There are groundbreaking features on board that are now guest favorites, including North Star, the glass capsule that takes guests more than 300 feet above the ocean; Two70, an immersive, multimedia entertainment venue; and robot bartenders at Bionic Bar. Then came Quantum Ultra Class, with Spectrum of the Seas’ debut in 2019 and Odyssey of the Seas in 2021. Odyssey became the first of its kind to cruise in North America, and it’s also set to visit the Mediterranean’s most luring cities and famed beach destinations in the summers.

The next generation of cruising is about to set sail with the debut of Icon of the Seas in 2024, the first of the new, game-changing Icon Class ships. Introducing all-new features, Icon will be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) – the cruise line’s first – and sail with additional sustainable features, like shore power connectivity, to dramatically reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The new class represents Royal Caribbean’s next significant step in its journey to becoming emission-free.

With a passion for building revolutionary ships and private destinations, and its commitment to continuous improvement, the cruise line also has a long history of protecting the communities and oceans in which it operates. This includes reducing energy consumption in both marine and hotel operations as well as designing and building the most efficient ships. These principles drive every effort to be a leader in sustainable design and innovation.
