Europe

Is a dream destination for many and a frequent destination for many more. It has everything to offer just about anyone. Each country is unique and has a wonderful mix of history, culture and many local sights to see. No matter the country or countries you travel to, you’ll never run out of things to do. Even getting around is part of the fun.

Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Visit the capital of Modern and Ancient Greece and explore , the "Old City" of Athens, Plaka, with its neoclassical buildings and shops for gifts and souvenirs.
Climb the Acropolis hill, where the Parthenon Temple dominates, and enjoy the wonderful view. Also, take a trip along the beautiful Saronic Gulf - Cape Sounion and ancient Corinth, where you can sunbathe and admire thousand years of history.

Venice (Ravenna), Italy

A cruise from Ravenna doesn’t just unlock some of the most captivating destinations in the Mediterranean – it also offers the perfect opportunity to explore one of Italy’s lesser-known gems. With its majestic churches and baptisteries and its abundance of early Christian mosaics, this charming seaside port is a haven for lovers of art and architecture. It also has a surprisingly rich history – Ravenna served as the capital of the Western Roman Empire for three hundred years and became a thriving hub for talented craftsmen, artists and master masons. It’s why the city is rich with museums and beautiful historic palaces. Dedicate a couple days to getting to know Ravenna ahead of your cruise.

Corfu

Known as the "Emerald Isle" because of its rich vegetation and timeless beauty, Corfu is one of the hidden treasures of the Mediterranean. The second largest of the Ionian islands, Corfu covers an area of 592 square kilometers. With the intense culture and incomparable beuaty coastline, Corfu was an inexhaustible source of inspiration for many artists and writers.

Chania - Souda (Crete)

The town of Chania is built on the ruins of ancient Cydonia. This historic city had been conquered by many invaders, who left traces of their culture, depicted on building faces, castles, walls, antiquities, monasteries and churches. Dominant position in the city center holds the Municipal market, a brilliant cross-shaped building which was completed in 1913, the analogue of Marseille.
The Venetian port is attractive to visitors and locals, both for its beauty and the entertainment it provides. The neighborhoods of the old city preserve their Venetian nobility. Narrow paved alleys are surrounded with tasteful renewed houses, from various eras, offering a pleasant stroll.

Mykonos

Mykonos, the most cosmopolitan island in Europe with the most beautiful beaches.

Mykonos is an island of Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. Mykonos was a famous touristic destination since 1960. Nowadays, the nightlife of Mykonos still is the most intense and interesting throughout Europe. Here you will find picturesque villages with whitewashed houses and cobble paved narrow streets, with open door cafes serving Greek specialties. Taste delicious frash seafood from the deep blue Aegean Sea and visit the nearby island of Delos, the island of Apollo with the Temple of Apollo and hellenistic mansions with beautiful mosaics.

Kotor (Montenegro)

In the southeastern edge of Kotor Bay, is located the namesake city, with its medieval color intact, a World Heritage site, under the protection of UNESCO. The walls of the city, stretching for 4.5 kilometers, were gradually growing over the centuries and nowadays create points with stunning view. The natural beauty is inherent in the rich history and tradition, and a host of cultural events organized every year in the region, attract many tourists to the medieval natural harbor of Adriatic. The traces of Illyrians, of the Roman culture,of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque era, are particularly strong and are reflected in the many attractions and monuments of different historical periods.

Zakynthos, Greece

Zakynthos is one of the islands of the Ionian Islands. It has rich vegetation and an island with significant agricultural production, mainly based on the cultivation of olive, citrus and raisin and floricultural. Also has substantial business, particularly in the tourism sector, which is aided by Dionysios Solomos Airport and many hotels and accommodations, utilizing the natural beauty and historical tradition, combined with the hospitality of its inhabitants.

Royal Caribbean International

Message from Adam M. Goldstein,  President and CEO

Welcome to Royal Caribbean International – a place where innovation and imagination reign supreme. From its very beginning, our company has been guided by the principles of designing ships and creating itineraries that lead to a cruising experience like no other – principles grounded on delivering the WOW to each and every one of our guests before, during and after sailing with us.

We take great pride in being able to introduce first-at-sea innovations such as the rock climbing wall, zipline and FlowRider® surf simulator to mention a few, as well as offering unparalleled entertainment experiences and to be the only cruise line to offer Tony Award®-winning Broadway shows. All of these onboard amenities offer us the opportunity to see how we can WOW our guests every time they cruise with us.

With more than 280 destinations worldwide and an amazing array of exciting shore excursions and cruisetour options, we provide our guests the chance to experience something new. Something only a Royal Caribbean cruise can offer – like glacier-trekking in Alaska; cave-tubing in Belize; biking through the vineyards of Dubrovnik, Croatia; experiencing the wonders of China; or simply doing nothing at all. That's just the beginning of the kind of exciting adventures and relaxing escapes our global cruises bring to vacationers around the world.

Our ships are also built to WOW. Our latest innovations on Quantum of the Seas, set to sail in November 2014, will feature such first-at-sea experiences like bumper cars, roller skating, simulated skydiving and The North Star, a jewel-like capsule that gently soars 300 feet above sea level. Plus, our Oasis class ships continue to WOW our guests with their unprecedented entertainment, dining and exclusive onboard amenities. We also continue to enhance the rest of our fleet and have already revitalized more than half of our 21 ships and will finalize the revitalizations with our Voyager class in 2014 and 2015.

All of this of course could not be accomplished without our most amazing asset – our crew. The men and women onboard our ships work tirelessly each and every day to ensure that all of our guests have the vacation of a lifetime.

We are committed to continue creating amazing new experiences for our guests in the years ahead. It’s our way of ensuring that we offer our guests the most innovative cruise ships, exciting and compelling itineraries around the world, and our renowned GOLD Anchor Service – what we call the Royal Advantage. We look forward to seeing you onboard and delivering the WOW to you and your family and friends.
