Harstad, Norway

Harstad is a municipality in Troms, Norway. It is mostly located on the northeastern part of Hinnoya Island, which is Norway’s largest coastal island. The city itself is located on the northeastern part of on Hinnoya. Ιt is the only city on the island, and is popularly known as Vagsfjordens perle (The pearl of Vagsfjorden). Despite being located north of the Arctic Circle, Harstad features a sub-polar oceanic climate with relatively mild winters and cool summers. The city enjoys the midnight sun during the summer months, from 22 May to 18 July. There is also a period from early May to early August with twilight for a few hours each night as the sun just dips below the horizon, so there is no darkness. The polar night, when the sun is always below the horizon, lasts from 30 November to 12 January. 

Island Of Runde, Heroy, Norway

Runde is an island in the municipality of Heroy, Norway. The island has a population of 102 people and it's connected by the Runde Bridge to the island of Remoya. It is famous first and foremost for its enormous and dense population of seabirds. It is said that there are about 500,000 to 700,000 seabirds inhabiting the island. 

Isle of May, United Kingdom

The Isle of May forms part of the Islands of the Forth in Scotland. The isle is accessible by ferry from the ports of Anstruther and Crail and it is recommended for daytrips, especially during May to September. It is considered as a Scottish National Nature Reserve. Robert Stevenson's lighthouse built in 1816 is a popular attraction to visitors.

Leknes (Lofoten), Norway

Leknes is a town in Nordland county, Norway. It is a town in Lofoten archipelago that differs from all the other fishing towns in this area. However, the surrounded landscape is nothing but a scenic paradise with cliffs, white sandy beaches, mountains and peaks. It is very possible to catch a sight of cormorants,eagles and of course whales. Lofoten offers, also, a wide range of activities such as surfing, kayaking and snorkelling in crystal clear arctic waters. You will be astonished by the natural beauty this place offers!

London (Tower Bridge)

 London's Tower Bridge is one of the most recognizable bridges in the world. Its Victorian Gothic style stems from a law that forced the designers to create a structure that would be in harmony with the nearby Tower of London.Inside the bridge is the Tower bridge Exhibition, a display area that encompasses the walkway and the two famous towers where you can observe the Victorian engine room. Visitors can learn about the history of the bridge via photos, films, and other media.

Lerwick/Shetland, UK

Lerwick is a bustling, cosmopolitan seaport with services and amenities only usually found in much larger places on the British mainland. The extensive leisure and entertainment facilities provide warm hospitality to visitors. The old waterfront is thronged with pleasure boats, visiting yachts, historic craft and working fishing boats. There's a variety of lively bars and clubs, ranging from popular "theme" bars to more traditional hostelries.  Visitors can explore a surprisingly wide range of well-stocked shops. Lerwick also has an outstanding Museum and Archives, incorporating an art gallery. 

Isle Of Noss, Scotland

Noss is a small, inhabited island in Shetland, Scotland. It is The Perfect Island for Birds. Attractions on Noss include the Pony Pund built to breed Shetland Ponies and the Noup cliff. Although not the biggest seabird colony in Britain, Noss is the most accessible one, combining very large numbers of birds with a wide variety of species and spectacular scenery.

Narvik

Narvik is a town in Norway with a population of approximately 15,300 residents. From Narvik is extracted iron ore. The city has access to numerous outdoor activities. This is the best known location in northern Norway for alpine skiing. Fishing in the fjord or in lakes and streams is a popular leisure activity.

Cruise Trollfjorden, Norway

The Trollfjord is a 2 km long sidearm of the Raftsund between the Norwegian archipelagos of Lofoten and Vesteralen. The name is derived from troll (a supernatural being), a figure from Norse mythology. The fjord widens to a maximum width of 800 meters. The mountains surrounding Trollfjord are between 600 to 1100 metres high. 

Reine, Lofoten Islands, Norway

Countless rare species can be watched and admired by the visitors in this extraordinary region on earth; atlantic puffins, kittiwakes, razorbills, shags, fulmars and white-tailed eagles. The most characteristic shoreline species are skua, whimbrel. phalarope and turnstone. 

Stromness, Orkney Islands, Scotland

Stromness is a big town situated in the area of Orkney Islands in Scotland, United Kingdom. The town has a long seaport, while the architecture of the old town is superb. An interesting characteristic of the town is that many houses has whale bones on their outside.

Tromso, Norway

Tromsο is the largest city and the largest urban area in Northern Norway, where occurs the phaenomenon of the Midnight Sun from about 18 May to 26 July. The city centre of Tromso contains the highest number of old wooden houses in Northern Norway. The Arctic Cathedral, a modern church from 1965, is probably the most famous landmark in Tromsο. The city is a cultural centre for its region and several festivals take place during the summer.
