Colombo

Colombo is the largest city and economic capital of Sri Lanka. Due to its large natural harbor and its strategic position on the trade routes, connecting East and West, Colombo was known to the traders of ancient times, about 2000 years ago.

Frost Island, Myanmar

Frost Island is part of Mayanmar's Mergui Archipelago in the Andam Sea. Nearly all of the islands have pure white coral sand beaches virtually untouched by human footprints.

Galle

Galle is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated on the southwestern tip of Sri Lanka, 119 km from Colombo. Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by Europeans in south and southeast Asia, showing the interaction between European architectural styles and south Asian traditions. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Other prominent landmarks in Galle include the natural harbor, the National Maritime Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral founded by Jesuit priests, one of the main Shiva temples on the island, and Amangalla the historic luxury hotel. Located near the southern end of the Sri Lanka, Galle enjoys a nice coast line. And it's a district that enjoys a great variance of scenarios, from beaches to marsh lands to dry planes to hills.

Belawan, Gunung Leuser National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia

Belawan is a city and port, northeastern of Sumatra in Indonesia. The Deli River passes through the city, while the port is the busiest outside of Java. Gunung Leuser National Park is in northern Sumatra in which a wide range of endangered animals and plants can be found. Orangutans, rhinoceroes as well as sambar deers inhabit there. Eco-tourism travellers can admire the beauties of the park, as it gives the opportunity to view the wildlife.

Hambantota, Sri Lanka

Hambantota is a town in Sri Lanka. The 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami devastated Hambantota, and reportedly killed a large proportion of the town's population. The town is a major producer of salt. The Hambantota Wind Farm is the first wind farm in Sri Lanka.

Port Blair (Andaman Is.), India

Port Blair is mainly famouw for the Cellular Jail.Being located on the coastal line of Bay of Bengal, the town has got palm-lined beaches with spectacular view of marine life and rare corals.A drive on the bumping roads amidst the lush green forests will make you fall for the place.

Kawthaung, Myanmar

Kawthaung is the southernmost town in Myanmar. The Andaman Club Resort Hotel which is popular for casino gambling is half an hour away from the town by boat trip.

Lampi Island

Lampi Island is the most popular island for tourists in the Mergui Archipelago. It is known for its great wealth of wild animals and birds, its clear waters, its coral reefs and its virgin forest. Due to its considerable biodiversity, Lampi is the only protected Myanmar national park and since 2003 it has been designated as the ASEAN Cultural Heritage Park. Although the archipelago officially opened for tourism in 1997, the island remains largely unexplored.

Ross Island, Andaman Islands, India

Ross Island is one of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, about 2 km east of Port Blair. It was the Administrative Headquarters for the islands, before an earthquake rocked it in 1941. The headquarters were then shifted to Port Blair. One can see remnants of an opulent past in the ruins of the church, swimming pool and the chief commissioner's residence with its huge gardens and grand ballrooms. There is also a cemetery and a small museum managed by the Indian Navy. The museum has on display a collection of old records.

Singapore

The skyscrapers and bright lights of Singapore hide an eclectic mix of cultures, religions, ancient treasures and British colonial influences that give to the city a distinct identity. A much different environment you are going to meet at the city's outskirts, with the lush rainforests of the nature reserves Boukit Timach and Central Katsment.

Trincomalee, Sri Lanka

Trincomalee is a big port city in Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. Hindu temples adorn the city; the Koneswaram Temple is of striking architecture as well as the Salli Muthumariamman Kovil. Silversea Cruises

Let us take you on a personal journey of discovery. Amid the tranquillity of the sea and the exuberance of distant lands, we will arouse your curiosity and seduce your senses. We will stimulate your imagination and spark new insights. Our aim is to create experiences that will enrich your life for years to come. From the moment you step onboard to the time you say "Arrivederci", our Italian sense of style will shine. The ebullience of our hospitality, the genuine warmth of our service and our evident appreciation of the finer things in life are genial qualities of our founders and owners. They are the principles on which Silversea were founded.

Small is beautiful and bountiful. With fewer guests and a high staff to guest ratio, we can tailor our unobtrusive service to individual needs. And you can join a select on board community of travellers with similar aspirations. The intimate ambience on our shιps has parallels with the atmosphere of a refined club. We are happy to sail against the tide. While most cruise lines build larger and ever-larger ships, we prefer to stay small. In this way we can preserve the special Silversea experience our guests have come to expect ... the intimate ambience, personal service and access to more intriguing secluded ports.

SMALLER GETS YOU CLOSER

Our small ships are agile enough to visit more remote, lesser-known ports and to bring you closer to some of the world's greatest destinations. They can sail up narrow waterways into the heart of a city, they can navigate around tiny islands and they can tie up right at the dock while others must anchor offshore. In the world of upscale cruising, less is more... considerably more, as our seven small ships offer infinite opportunities across all seven continents.

Silver Cloud - 296 Guests Resembling a private yacht, Silver Cloud sets the standard of excellence as the inaugural ship. Recently refurbished in 2012, she provides the most intimate sailing experiences, the luxury of space and the ability to slip into exotic ports off the beaten path.
